Both demo accounts and live accounts are available with ActivTrades!
The sign-up process for a live account is quite bothersome. They require a lot of personal information from you!
You need to provide your annual income, net worth, trading experience, address, phone number, employment details as well as your tax information.
You’ll be happy to hear that signing up for a demo account is much less complicated!
ActivTrades also offers professional trading accounts. These are aimed at traders with larger trading capital or who work in the financial sector.
The cryptos on offer are limited: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple. They are all paired with USD only. You will be trading cryptos as a CFD. You can only fund your account with fiat currencies.
Their Bitcoin spread sits at 30 points/pips whereas many competitors have around a 50 pip/point spread. ActivTrades currently boasts one of the most competitive spreads for Bitcoin.
The other cryptos’ spreads are competitive though they do not stand out as much as their Bitcoin spread.
As such, your trading can be more flexible when trading with ActivTrades, though they have been known to have issues with slippage.
